  Invitation to Present Research Note Presentations

We would like to invite all presenters of accepted academic posters to present their work as a Research Note at ISIC 2004.

What is a Research Note?
A Research Note is a summary of your paper, offered in an oral presentation of 10 minutes in length. The Research Note replaces the academic poster presentation.

Schedule:
Research Notes will be presented throughout the conference, both within regular research paper sessions and in separate sessions.

Research Note Specifications:
  1. Maximum presentation length is 10 minutes. Questions from the audience may be asked at the end of a session or group of Research Notes.
  2. Maximum summary length for submission for publication is 250 words.
How to submit you Research Note for inclusion in the ISIC programme:
Summaries of Research Notes will be included in delegates' handouts. Please email your Research Note summary to ISIC2004@ucd.ie by July 1, 2004.

How to submit your final Research Note for post-conference publication: Summaries of Research Notes presented at ISIC 2004 will be submitted for publication in Information Research: An International Electronic Journal. All final research note submissions must follow the journal's Instructions for Authors.Authors are also encouraged to send their full paper directly to Professor Tom Wilson for possible publication as a working paper in Information Research: An International Electronic Journal, as per the guidelines emailed to you by Professor Wilson.

Please note that a diskette copy of your final research note is required, as well as 2 printed copies. Electronic research notes must be saved as Word text files. All final copies of research notes for journal consideration must be received no later than September 24, 2004. Please mail this material to the following address:

Conference Registration / RSVPs
We request that you rsvp no later than Friday, May 14th, so that we can add your presentations to our conference programme.

The conference registration has been extended to accommodate your registration at the early bird rates. However, should you require additional time to make registration arrangements, please advise us.
