Venue for ISIC 2004: Organisers of the ISIC 2004 Conference are delighted to welcome delegates to attend conference events at the Quinn School of Business located on the main campus of University College Dublin, Belfield, Dublin 4 (no 59 on the UCD map). The building, named after its main benefactor, Mr Lochlann Quinn, former Chairman of Allied Irish Bank, opened in September 2002 and is the centre for undergraduate business studies at UCD. Presenting an architecturally attractive and distinctive image, the Quinn School is unique as the first European university building designed with a primary focus on e-learning. Students enjoy cutting edge technology and e-commerce infrastructure with over 2000 Internet connection points distributed throughout all teaching, study and social areas. In addition to a number of spacious lecture theatres and classrooms, the interior of the Quinn School features the light filled Berber Atrium, a Celtic Contemplative Room and a coffee shop on the second floor. Delegates are encouraged to bring their laptops and avail themselves of the wireless email and Internet connections throughout the building.
