How the Workshop Will Work:
  1. You will be divided into groups of 5-6 students and there will be 2 scholars who will lead each group.
  2. Each group will review and discuss their own work and the work of other group members under the guidance of the group leaders.
In Preparation for the Workshop:
  1. Come prepared to give a 15 minute presentation on your thesis work to your group. You should specifically note any problems or difficulties you have had, so that discussion can be focussed appropriately.
  2. No overheads are necessary, although you are welcome to bring them with you. There will be NO PowerPoint facilities in the workshop room.
  3. You may wish to bring along a handout to distribute, if you feel that this will help others in your group.
  4. Before the workshop, you will be provided with the contact information for your group members. You should provide each group member and your group leaders with a summary of your thesis work and the problems you are currently trying to resolve. Everyone should read this material and come prepared to discuss it at the workshop, so that all students receive maximum benefit from the workshop.
